Taverham Fayre Demo - Thank you
Thank you to all those that helped with the demo.
The feed back from the organisers, parents and the instructors was that you were all amazing.
you should all be really proud of yourselves.
It takes a lot of courage to demonstrate your skills infront of your peers and to so many people that you dont know and who may judge you.
For some of you, it wasn’t that so long ago that you struggled to step on the mats at the studio, and now performing in front of over a hundred people.
Truly amazing

Honey Bee Visit
Thank you for your understanding last week.
As you all know we had a visit from a swarm of honey bees.
A couple of kickboxers foot work wasn’t up to scratch as they got stung.
We contacted a couple of specialists and both advised that we leave them be for 48 hours to see if they settle and nest or decide that our classes are too much for them and quit the studio.
Luckily they decided to move on, allowing us to get cleaners in to make sure that the studio was clear as poss of any stragglers or dead bees.
Again thank you for your understanding of this situation. Any classes missed, you are welcome to make up during July.

Our scarecrow display is inspired by the ancient Chinese Dragon Gate Legend.
The story tells of a brave carp that swims upstream against strong currents. Many fish turn back, but the carp keeps going. After showing determination, courage and perseverance, it finally leaps over the Dragon Gate and is transformed into a mighty dragon.
At SESMA Martial Arts, we believe this story reflects the journey of every student. Everyone starts as a beginner, but through hard work, practice, resilience and a positive attitude, they can achieve amazing things.
Our scarecrow represents the carp’s journey to becoming a dragon and celebrates the values we teach every day: respect, discipline, perseverance, confidence and self-belief.
Just like the carp, every child has the potential to achieve great things when they keep trying and never give up.
