Second Ukraine Trip

Dave & Lynn Holland and a team of voluntees recently made their 2nd trip to the boarder of Poland from Luxemburg to deliver much needed supplies to the Refugee Centres.

Dave & Lynn recorded their journey and and the highlights are available here for you to see.

Many of the SESMA students were inspired as much as  I was, and together we have raised a total of
£1300 towards their trips.

Dave & Lynn have sent their thanks and Sue & myself are so proud of those that donated.

I never though in my life I had to support war refugees in #Europe, but this is happening.
And I do it wholeheartedly with the hope that this cruel war will be over soon.
Our team of 20+ spectacular volunteers is ready to leave #luxembourg tomorrow morning and reach the border of Poland/Ukraine to bring highly demanded supplies to Ukraianian refugee centers.
Cannot thank more for all the donations, the support and the demonstrations of love received! 🙏

A message of thanks:
Thank you very much for agreeing to help us during this difficult time for us. Not only in word, but also in deed, you’ve helped us and our children lots in moving around unknown countries to us. We are extremely grateful that you helped us take children away from the war in our native Ukraine. We are very pleased that we got to know you. The whole world should know that there are such wonderful people with big hearts.
We are waiting for you to visit us when the war in Ukraine ends. Dnipro will surprise you with its beauty. We will be glad to meet you again.

Ukraine update from Dresden…

Quick Update…

One of the young ladies we brought out from Ukraine had a friend in Metz where she requested to be taken…
Turns out this “friend” is a middle aged single guy in a one bedroom apartment…
And the idea was they would share the same double bed…
So, after she contacted one of the Team telling them the situation, we drove there to get her…
Within 45 minutes we had got her out…
She is now sat in our lounge chatting with Lynn, drinking coffee…
She can stay with us in her own room, for as long as she likes…
The work is not done until everyone is safe…😀
