We understand that traditional spaces can sometimes feel unwelcoming. Our classes are a safe, supportive space where you can express yourself freely, surrounded by a community that values and respects your identity.
Our lead instructor is proudly transgender and a dedicated member of the LGBTQ+ community. They bring not only exceptional martial arts expertise but also a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by our community. This perspective ensures that every class is conducted with sensitivity, respect, and a genuine commitment to inclusivity.
Our instructors are trained to work with individuals who are neurodiverse, offering personalized instruction that accommodates different learning styles and needs. We believe in the power of martial arts to enhance focus, reduce anxiety, and build self-esteem, all while respecting your unique experience
Our self-defense programs are specifically crafted to address the challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community. Learn practical skills to protect yourself in real-world situations, build confidence in your abilities, and develop a powerful sense of inner strength
At SESMA Martial Arts, you’re not just joining a class—you’re becoming part of a community. Our events, workshops, and social gatherings are designed to bring people together, fostering connections and friendships that extend beyond the mat.
We believe that everyone deserves to feel strong, confident, and safe. Our martial arts and self-defense classes are designed specifically for the LGBTQ+ community, offering an inclusive environment that honors diversity, respects individual experiences, and promotes empowerment through movement.
Whether you’re a seasoned martial artist or stepping onto the mat for the first time, our classes are tailored to meet your needs, fostering both physical and mental resilience.
At SESMA we understand that just one Intro Class of Kickboxing or Kungfu may not be enough for you to decide which programme suits you;
So, we offer a trial course to help you decide…
The 1st class is absolutely FREE and provides you with a taste of what martial arts is about and whether it is a sport/ hobby that they would like to pursue.
If you would like to continue, with the trial course; the cost is just £25.
By participating in the 4-Week trial, prospective students experience 4 lessons to see if they would like to become a full member and we can assess your suitability for a place in our classes.
Membership details are provided after the 3rd lesson for you to read and to give you time to decide if martial arts is right for you or your child.
