We’re honoured to announce the official installation and registration of the Daniel Baird Foundation Emergency Bleed Kit and cabinet.
SESMA purchased the cabinet and kit from Heart 2 Heart Norfolk in partnership with Raymond James Quigley’s Legacy. The cabinet now proudly stands on the exterior wall of SESMA Studio, accessible 24/7 to anyone in the community.
This isn’t just a gesture—it’s a game changer. In those critical first minutes of a traumatic bleed, having the right equipment can mean the difference between life and death. SESMA is deeply committed to being more than just a martial arts dojo—we’re a pillar of our community, stepping up when it matters most.
SESMA welcomed Margaret Oakes, mother of Raymond James Quigley, to visit our studio and see the new cabinet in place. Her presence brought profound meaning to this day, marking a beautiful convergence of compassion, remembrance, and community action.
Our mission continues. Over the coming months, SESMA will be looking to install a publicly accessible defibrillator cabinet too—so that our studio becomes a dual hub of emergency support.
