Motivational Monday – Inspiration
“Where I was born and where and how I have lived is unimportant. It is what I have done with where I have been that should be of interest.”
Painter Georgia O’Keeffe on making the most of what you have:
Todays MM is a little self-indulgent as I want to talk about inspiration to others that an instructor of SESMA gives to others.
Saturday gone, my instructors and myself were invited to an awards evening that covered the whole country and included over 1000 martial arts instructors.
We were nominated for the Community Award for all the anti-bullying work that SESMA do in schools. Another school that teaches and empowers disabled children won the award, but the fact that we were nominated was a win for me & my instructors.
Tom Weavers SESMA’s Head Instructor was awarded Inspirational Instructor for all the work he does with the children that visit SESMA.
To have the ability to inspire and be a role model to others is a gift and he is making the most of it.
We all have a gift but sometimes put them aside
This week have a think of what have you done or what could you do that is of interest?
