Incredibly proud of SESMA Martial Arts to have been nominated for the 2025 Broadland Community Awards.
Although we didn’t win, Top 3 is still amazing.
Sensei Tom, Master Wayne, Sue and Master Lynda have created an absolutely wonderful environment at the SESMA Studio.
We always say that SESMA is a family and we really do mean it.
We are built off of supporting and encouraging each other, to not only grow and flourish in our Martial Arts journey, but in ourselves as well.
The SESMA community wouldn’t be what it is either without our fabulous team of Assistant and Junior Instructors, as well as Sensei Gav and Sensei JaiJai!
So thank you team!
It’s because of the amazing effort that goes into the club that we won the 2023 Martial Arts award out of 1000 clubs!
But none of this would have happened if it wasn’t for the students turning up and being awesome martial artists. And the parents and carers who show your support to us and the students!
SESMA Students Shine at Local Martial Arts Competition
This weekend, four of our SESMA Martial Arts students took part in a local grassroots martial arts competition designed especially for those new to competing.
For many, it was their first ever time stepping onto the mats — and what an amazing experience it turned out to be! These small, supportive events are a brilliant way to learn how competitions run, build confidence, and overcome those first-time nerves.

We also have matching pad bags too which can be personlised with student name printed on.
Please speak to US before buying on Amazon as some pads are not compliant and can void your insurance/licence.
Plus it would be nice to support your club and not a business that you have no personal connection with.

But incase you missed them, they are on the sesma website: https://sesma.co.uk/blog/
